How many times have you heard someone mention the power of networking and/or Joint Ventures? Many I’d imagine. The reason why is because obviously there is power in numbers and the more people you know, the more potential exposure you have.
The problem that arises for many marketers is a feeling of intimidation. No matter what you think of your own product, blog, ideas etc, you may worry what the “big guys” would think of it, so you don’t even bother proposing a JV.
If this is you, you’re not alone. I had the same train of thought for the longest time. It wasn’t until my first big product was promoted by a well-known and trusted marketer that I started to get the confidence to go out and contact others of the same caliber.
There will always be some who think their sh** don’t stink and to those, let them believe that. They can continue to enjoy their ego and I’ll be just fine leaving them out of my network!
However, there are MANY who are successful and have no problem replying to your emails and giving you their thoughts on whatever it is you are inquiring about.
Not all will accept your proposals. This doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re arrogant or anything else. In many cases they are just too busy. If this is the case don’t worry about it. Contact others. It only takes one big promo to get your product, blog or whatever it is you’re promoting out to the masses.
When it comes down to it, what do you have to lose? You don’t know what they’ll say if you don’t try!
I’ll be diving into how to properly contact big marketers for JV proposals in the last part of the ebook guide, which you’ll be seeing part 2 of in the next day or two.
