If you can Lose Weight you can Make Money Online

This is more of a random thought than an informational post, but hopefully it will give some of you who are struggling to make any decent money online a different way of looking at this online thing.

Many of you know in May of this year (2007) I got out of the Army after 5 years (got tired of fighting a war that should have ended years ago) and finally went full time IM. This was in a way disappointing because I enjoyed many aspects of the military and making pretty good money on the side was great as well. It was also extremely exciting having the chance to finally devote sufficient time to my online business and developing it further.

Well, it’s all good and fine, but when you go from the military to working on a computer you get out of shape quick, fast and in a hurry 3 months after getting out of the army I had gained nearly 20 lbs!! About 3 weeks ago I got a membership an the YMCA and started working out once again.

After my first workout I remembered just how dedicated you really have to be in order to get in top physical shape. It’s not easy by any means but I was determined. I’m not back in shape 100% after only 3 weeks, but as a direct result of my determination I’m very close. I’ve lost about 15 of those 20 lbs. that I had gained since exiting the military and I’ve gained some of the muscle back that I had a while back. I feel like a new man and I’m not even where I want to be yet

OK, this is a Make Money Blog right? haha (this post will probably end up in Google’s sup’s)

Here’s my point:

Let’s compare losing weight to making money online…

Difficulty

- Losing weight –> Extremely hard to do for many.
- Making Money Online –> Extremely hard to do for many.

Quick Fixes
Can work, but only for a short amount of time.

- Losing weight –> Diet Pills and fasting.
- Making Money Online –> Spamming and Scamming.

Mediocre Fixes
Can be effective if you follow the plan and don’t give up, but in most cases it’s not the best choice.

- Losing weight –> The hot, new diet that’s taking the World by storm.
- Make Money Online –> The hot, new product that guarantees results.

Long-Term Results
Long-lasting results that result in you achieving your long-term goals.

- Losing weight –> Exercising regularly and eating right.
- Making Money Online –> Learning, developing a solid Business plan and taking action.

I realize you may now be thinking to yourself “Great, I’m fat and broke, thanks Josh, I’m off to cry in the corner now.”

Don’t cry hold on…

I believe money is one of the most powerful things in the world. Most people will do just about anything to get their hands on some cash. If you’re not one of those people then I probably don’t have a point, but if you are think of this:

If I told you that all you have to do in order to make a steady, solid income is to get in shape do you think you could do it? I bet many many many people, even those who have never been able to in the past, would be running marathons in about 60 days.

For those of you who answered yes to that, you probably have one thing holding you back. You know exactly what you need to do in order to get in shape (most people do) but you don’t know exactly how to make money online.

That’s where the business plan comes in. If you know the basics of all this, decide what online business model you want to do. Whether it’s affiliate marketing, solely blogging, niche marketing, whatever. Now start researching until you are extremely confident in that field. Once you’re confident, start doing everything you KNOW you should be doing and don’t make up any excuses. 8 Great Ways To Make Money Online

Being a stay at home mother, website owner and webmaster, I have discovered several ways to make money online. These things that I am going to share with you will most likely not get you rich, but do add a nice supplement to your income. The type of work that I have done to make money online is mainly writing articles, and blogging for pay. If you have a website or blog, you can also use the blogging for pay sites to pay people to advertise your business on their blogs. Here are some of the best ones I have found.

Blogsvertise.com - This paid to blog site, pays you through PayPal 30 days after your post is made. Most submissions need to be 2-3 short paragraphs and include 3 links to the advertisers site. You can set up your account to specify the lowest amount that you will accept to post a task. I suggest setting the limit low until you have posted several things for them. The offers I get are usually around $10, but they have gradually increased over the last few months of working for them. They have very good people working for them that will let you know if there is something that needs to be fixed before they accept your post. They also have some tasks that are simply putting a link in your sidebar. For this kind of task, you will get paid monthly for the link.

PayPerPost.com is said to be one of the best get paid to blog sites. PayPerPost.com is one of the more difficult paid to blog programs to be accepted to, but if you are persistent, you will eventually be accepted. The great thing about PayPerPost.com is that they give you a tack rating according to how well the advertisers like your posts. As your tack rating goes up, you will be qualified to write posts that are worth more money. Again, accepting posts that are for low dollar amounts will help you get established, and increase your tack rating, as long as you are writing good posts. PayPerPost also pays via PayPal, and will pay for approved posts after 30 days.

BloggingAds.com is another great pay per post site. What is different about BloggingAds.com, is that they actually give you the choice of writing your own post, or using one of five that they already have written, so all you have to do is copy and paste them into your blog. Of course, it is much better for your blog if you create your own unique post, but if you are running short on time, it is an excellent option. BloggingAds.com pays you within 30 days via a PayPal account.

Smorty.com is a pay to blog site that pays you via PayPal weekly. This is the only pay per post blogging site that I know of that will pay you that quickly. So far I haven’t seen an offer over $6 on Smorty.com, but I am still fairly new to this site, and it may increase with time like the others do.

Bloggerwave.com is a fairly new paid blogging site that is fairly easy to get approved for. Their offers are between $6-10 so far. The only thing about this site is that they do not have that many advertisers yet. They also pay via PayPal, usually at the end of the month.

Associated Content.com - This site pays you to submit non-exclusive or exclusive articles. If you submit articles to them with non-exclusive rights, you are still allowed to use your articles for article marketing, or whatever you want, but if you submit them as exclusive rights articles, you are selling all your rights to this article, yet it will remain the same, and will have your name attached to it. They will make you an offer on your article, and then you can decide if you want to accept of reject the offer.

Helium is another place for you to post your articles and make money. Most of the money I have made from this site has been from their ongoing weekly contests. They also have a “marketplace” where you can post your articles and have a chance at being selected to be published in various magazine, which you will be paid pretty good for. You also get paid a few cents for each page view to your articles.

Of course there are several more money making sites out there, but these are my top eight, and they really do pay you. You do not have to spend hours doing surveys only to find out that one half hour survey is worth $1. Good luck, and I hope this information can help you in some way.

How to Make Fast Money Online in 7 Days or Less

There are times when no matter how much money a person is making, they need more and they need it fast!

I was recently asked what exactly I would do if I needed an extra $1,000 within a week.

But first, notice I said "Fast" and not "Easy." It will take alot of work and it won't be easy but the following is a very good way to make at least $1,000 in a week or less and yes, I have done it more than once:

1. Think of something you are extremely knowledgeable about. This could be anything from cars to healthcare. Think of some of the problems/issues that people interested in this "niche" have. Now write down the problems/issues that you can solve! If you can't solve the problems/issues you came up with, pick another topic until you find one that you can solve.

2. Open a Word Processor document and start writing a report. Come up with an enticing title that would interest people. If possible, include the problem in the title, i.e. "How to Lose 10 Pounds in 10 Days." Complete the report and don't even think about the length. As long as you provide a valuable, genuine, in-depth report that solves a problem, you are good to go.

3. Now download a free copy of Open Office Writer if you don't already have one. Use this to convert your Word doc to PDF. It's very simple to do, just visit their forum if you have any questions with that.

4. Go to ClickBank and do a search of their marketplace for the most popular products in the category of your new report. Open the first few you find and observe the sales page. WITHOUT COPYING them, come up with a sales page of your own.

5. If you have a PayPal Account, click on "merchant services" and then "buy now buttons" and generate a buy now button. The price you set is totally up to you but I wouldn't charge any more than $15 for a short report. If you don't have a PayPal account you will need to get one.

6. Go to Google and do a search for the keyword most relevant to your report. For example, if your report is about dog training, do a search for "dog training."

Go to every site you see on the first page. Find a way to contact the owner send a (this is very important) Personalized, friendly, sincere email, letting them know that you have just written a very valuable report on "whatever" and you would like to offer it to their visitors. Offer then a cut of all the profits so they have a little incentive. I alway offer 50% but thats just me. The email proposal is the most important part of this entire process! If it's obvious that you're just trying to make some money, most of these people are not even going to reply! You have to CONVINCE them that their visitors will honestly benefit from your report!

7. Reapeat step 6 over and over and over again until you've made your fast money online!

So there it is. Complete these steps and there is a very good chance of making at least $1,000 in 7 days.

Are You Selling 7 Dollar Secrets?

Several months ago, a marketer by the name of Jonathan Legar released a report and script called “7 Dollar Secrets” and it’s one I really WANTED to review.”

I remember getting a PM from Allen Says from the Warrior Forum recommending the product. Allen sends out recommendations but they are few and far between and you can rest assured that those that are recommended by him are excellent!

Well, I didn’t go through with this one. Looked like a nice product but It just hit at the wrong time, as I had several different things I was working on at the time.

From that point on it seems like the phrase “7 Dollar Secrets” started popping up EVERYWHERE! “Guru” Marketers like Willie Crawford are even using this script.

It wasn’t until last week that I purchased the product and decided to see what it was all about.

It’s one of those things that make you say “Why didn’t I think of that?”

In a nutshell, the 7 Dollar Secrets script works like this:

1. You have a report to sell so you install the script on your server, edit the sales page, squeeze page and a few other small pages.

2. You enter your PayPal email and it generates a purchase link for the sales page. No need to set up a PayPal buy now button.

3. You start promoting the report and every payment made goes straight into your paypal account. Once the customer pays, they are delivered the squeeze page that you easily setup in the script. They must opt-in to your mailing list in order to get their product, which is against PayPals TOS, BUT what I did was made it very clear that if they do not want to opt-in they can just delete the newsletter confirmation email. That’s makes everything within PayPal’s TOS.

4. Each customer can plug in their PayPal address to a special pre-made link and turn around and sell the report for 100% commission.

So, why let them keep 100%?? Because you’ll have affiliate links in your report for one, and the affiliates won’t have rights to change them. Each customer they refer also has to opt-in to your list and how many do you think will really delete that confirmation email? Some will for sure but most won’t.
